Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ and everyone in Nepal as they are suffering from the challenges of earth displacement from earthquakes, torrential rains in the monsoon season, and once again the devastating landslides that result. These are just a few photos from our own Pastor Reuben showing the effects that the landslides are having on the terrain and people. Warning: The last photo is graphic in nature showing a family with children killed when a landslide ripped through their home. According to the Nepal Red Cross Society as of August 15th, 65 people have lost their lives, 17 are missing, 16 injured, 15,418 have been displaced and 99,650 families are affected by the floods and landslides. 7,491 houses are completely damaged and 25,920 are partially damaged. The people of Nepal need our help and we are answering the call by planning another mission trip there in the fall but we need more resources to try and send immediate aid.
