Providing clean drinking water to multiple communities!

Love Beyond Borders Humanitarian Outreach

Back in September, Acacia Worship Center announced that one of its goals, was to purchase 100 water filters for distribution during our mission trip to Nepal.  Thanks to everyone who responded so generously, we accomplished our goal!  Twenty five filters were installed in the homeless camp of villagers near Hetauda and the remaining 75 filters were distributed to the villagers in Hetauda, Kathmandu, and Damak.  Local community leaders and churches gladly lent a hand and installed the filters throughout each of their regions, so that whole communities of people could benefit from this valuable resource.  We chose to provide clean drinking water, because it would have one of the longest lasting benefits to the local community.  The filters that we provided, can filter up to 540 gallons per day for up to 72 years!  How exciting to know that investments made to improving the quality of life, will extend beyond our lifetime!

Thank you for your support and for sharing in our journey to do God’s work in Nepal!
