With the money raised from our annual Mother’s Day Tea, Pastor Jay Kant Praja was able to purchase windows and doors for one of his many church rebuilding projects. The lumber had to be cut directly from the jungle, hauled to the construction site, and fabricated by hand. Without such luxuries as Home Depot and power tools, this portion of the project took 1 1/2 months to complete. You can see from the photos the crude resources and simple hand tools being used to fabricate the windows and doors by hand. With recent estimates for cement, a water tank, and plumbing to construct a much needed bathroom, Pastor Jay Kant is in need of approximately $2700 to complete this project. This is one of 25 churches being built for the growing Christian communities throughout Nepal. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
