Nepal Earthquake, one year later

April 25, 2015 a 7.8 magnitude earthquake and aftershocks drastically affected our brothers and sisters in Nepal.  This was considered one of the worst natural disasters in history, killing 8617 people and injuring 16,808.  Over 473,000 homes were destroyed and 2.8 million people were displaced.  Amidst the destruction, a total of 27 historic monuments and temples were damaged or completely destroyed causing many people there to abandon their false idols and traditional Hindu beliefs.  It is very important that we continue to share love and hope in Nepal!
